Will Allan was born on January 8, 1973, in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1996. He then attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas and obtained his J.D. in 1999. He was a member of the Texas Bank Lawyer Editorial Board for 1997-1998. He served as an intern with the Honorable J. Bonner Dorsey of the Texas Thirteenth Court of Appeals. Licensed to practice law since 1999, he started his law practice as an Associate Attorney with Adami, Goldman & Shuffield, Inc., where he practiced law for four years as a civil trial lawyer defending insurance companies, individuals and corporations in first party bad faith litigation, personal injury, construction defect, defamation and product liability cases. He joined Gendry & Sprague, P.C. where he worked as a trial lawyer for two years and successfully first chaired more than fifteen jury trials to verdict. He then joined Davis, Cedillo & Mendoza, Inc. in 2006, and was made a shareholder/owner in 2008, where he remained until leaving to form the law firm of Allan, Nava & Glander, P.L.L.C.
Will’s practice has focused on representing individuals and companies against their insurance company in first party bad faith litigation as well as individuals and families who have suffered catastrophic injuries or death at the hands of irresponsible people and companies. His practice area also includes representing individuals and companies with their construction defect claims. He has successfully tried, as a first chair, more than thirty-five civil jury cases to verdict, and has successfully settled more than a thousand cases. He is licensed to practice in Texas state courts as well as the Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern District of Texas federal courts. He is a member of the San Antonio and Texas Bar Associations. From 2009 to 2016, he was recognized by Scene In S.A. Magazine as one of the “Best Lawyers” in San Antonio. He has also earned an AV Preeminent rating, the directory’s highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
Will is married to Tera Allan and they have three young boys, William, Bode and Luke.
